General Assembly

The General Assembly of the ordinary members is the highest authority of the Association. It controls the Association and appoints and controls its Management.

See the By-laws, 7 and Rules, 4.

According to clause 8.1 of the Ecma By-laws, the President shall each year call at least two ordinary General Assemblies. In 2014, the first Ecma General Assembly was held on 25-26 June 2014 in Heidelberg (Germany) and the second one was held on 11-12 December 2014 in Sapporo (Japan). In 2015, the fist one was held on 17-18 June 2015 in Montreux (CH) and the second one was held on 9-10 December 2015 in Tokyo (Japan). In 2016, the General Assemblies will be held on 14-15 June in Montreux and on 13-14 December in the USA.
