At the June 17, 2015 Ecma General Assembly in Montreux the “experimental” TC39 and TC52 Ecma Royalty-Free (RF) patent policy has become “formal” Ecma-wide patent policy option and the “experimental” TC39 software copyright policy has been promoted to a “formal” Ecma-wide software copyright policy.
