The Ecma General Assembly approved the following documents:

• ECMA-328-1 9^th edition – Determination of Chemical Emission Rates from Electronic Equipment – Part 1 (using-consumables)
• ECMA-413 3^rd edition – Data migration method for BD Recordable and BD Rewritable disks
• ECMA-417 1^st edition – Architecture for a distributed real-time access system

Ecma International welcomes the following new members:

• Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (NFP)
• Osaka Prefecture University (NFP)
• Purdue University (NFP)
